National Non Profit Day

It’s National Nonprofit Day (NND) – the day to recognise the powerful impact non-profits all over the world have on improving the lives of millions across various communities – for us it’s improving the lives of greyhounds and lurchers that need us. 🐾

Like many charities, we can’t do that without the wonderful generosity of the dog-loving public….people like you. To quote the facts, whilst our costs to get a dog ready for homing vary enormously depending on needs, on average the direct costs associated with a dog coming into us are £1,250. This includes kennelling, neutering, vaccinations, flea treatments, worming, dentals and other medical care the dog may need.

Often dogs come to us in very poor condition and need substantial care and treatment before they are able to be homed, meaning the charity’s costs are even higher.

So, this non-profit day, please consider giving a donation to ensure we are there for the dogs that need us, like Connor (pictured). Otherwise, THEY might be beyond help. 😢
