National Pet Day

Today, we celebrate our beloved companions who fill our lives with endless joy and unconditional love. At Forever Hounds Trust, we believe that dogs are more than just pets; they’re our loyal companions, confidants, and family members.

Many of these hounds come from challenging backgrounds, yet they possess remarkable resilience and an unwavering capacity for love. By welcoming them into your home, you’re not only gaining a loyal companion but also giving them a second chance at happiness.

This is especially true of Coco, who is feeling a little sad today….😢

Coco has been with us a long time, around four years in fact. During this time we have done a lot of behavioural work with her, and now she is a completely different dog who would be a wonderful addition to many a family. So, why is Coco sad? Because she has experienced the joy of life as a ‘pet’ during a short period in foster, and you just have to look at these pics to see how much she loved it…

…but….she spends National Pet Day in kennels, with still no family to call her own. 😢

So, this National Pet Day, we encourage you to consider opening your heart and home to a hound in need. Maybe, just maybe Coco is the little lady that will make your family complete. ❤️
