Sad farewells to Skye

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of one of our amazing Ambassadogs, Skye. 🐾

Skye was an ever-present at our Gloucestershire events, accompanying her volunteer mum, Sarah, at so many events throughout the years. She was the gentlest of souls and a truly wonderful ambassador for the breed. Not only did she delight her adoring public, but she took her role very seriously, always keen to show our doggy visitors how to do the lucky dip or sausage bobbing (whether they were watching or not!).

Skye would take everything in her stride, and didn’t let busy events phase her; she could often be found snoozing the afternoon away despite the hubbub around her. She enjoyed the rewards of course – ice-creams, or even a few freebies she’d managed to ‘persuade’ the other stallholders to part with!

Events won’t be the same without Skye; she is a huge loss to the Forever Hounds Trust Family. Our condolences are firmly with her loving family.
