The difference donations make.

11/12/2024

Thank you for your donations for our Big Give ‘Help a Hound’ Appeal which finished at noon yesterday. The appeal raised an amazing £10,848, and once Gift Aid is added, the final amount will make a huge difference to hounds in need. Watch this video to see what impact they have already had on Hopper!

This is a far cry from what he was like when he first arrived into our care.

From the sad, used and abused lurcher who was unsure of people due to how he’d previously been mistreated, to the happy, playful and lovable boy we see now!

This money will make a huge difference to the lives of many greyhounds and lurchers as they are rescued and transition into the life they were born for. Hopper is still going through his assessment, but will very soon be available so will just need a loving home to complete his journey.

A huge thank you to our pledgers, donators and champion funder, The Reed Foundation for making this happen.

Our Big Give Christmas Challenge Appeal may have finished, but our Christmas raffle is still running so you still have an opportunity to help Hopper and hounds like him, and also top up your funds depleted from all your Christmas Shopping!

First prize is £150, 2nd £100, 3rd £75, 4th £50 and 5th £25. The good news is that the deadline for getting payment back to us is Wednesday, 8th January 2025, so why not sell some tickets to your family and friends over Christmas so they can help the hounds too? Please email [email protected] letting us know your address and how many books you want, we will then get some sent to you. Each book contains 10 tickets, tickets are £1 each.

Not worried about entering the raffle, and have missed donating to our Big Give appeal but still want to help us help more hounds like Hopper? Whether you’d like to make just one donation, or give regularly, you can arrange it by clicking here.

You can see what your donations can do for other dogs that need our help below.

Thank you for your unwavering support for hounds in need.
