Volunteer of the Year Finalist!

HUGE congratulations to Tracey Carter on being a Volunteer of the Year finalist in the Animal Charity Awards.

Tracey is an absolute superstar and without her help we simply would not be able to help the number of dogs that we do.

Tracey supports us across everything that we do. Many of you will know Tracey as our Queen of social media, and also from the work she does to keep this website in shape! Tracey ensures our communication channels keep our supporters up to date with our news and also makes sure all the messages sent through our social media platforms are responded to by the right team members.

Tracey is also often found behind the wheel of one of our vans or at our regional kennels! Because not only does she support all our online work but she also transports dogs for us, bringing them to our kennels and foster homes and caring for them while in transit.

And when Tracey isn’t on the road, in the kennels or managing our social media, she’s recycling, repairing and making beautiful collars for our hounds.

Tracey is at the centre of Forever Hounds Trust and we are so grateful for everything she does to help our charity and our hounds. Which is why we are so delighted that her amazing support has been recognised by the Animal Charity Awards!

The virtual award ceremony will be held in May and we all have our fingers and paws crossed for Tracey!
