Celebrating Volunteers Week: Our Heroes for Greyhounds and Lurchers!
As Volunteers Week begins, we want to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to the incredible people who make such a difference to Forever Hounds Trust. While we are always grateful for our volunteers, this week is all about celebrating the amazing impact they have on our charity.
Our volunteers give their time, love, and energy to help greyhounds and lurchers live happier, healthier lives. But did you know that not all of our volunteers are human?
We’re also lucky to have some very special four-legged volunteer heroes – our wonderful Ambassadogs – just some of whom are pictured! From representing Forever Hounds Trust at events, sharing our work social media, helping other hounds with rehabilitation, or even stepping in as models for photoshoots, our Ambassadogs are valued members of the team. Together with their humans, they help promote the charity and show the world just how incredible greyhounds and lurchers truly are.
To every volunteer – human and hound – who has supported us on our mission, past and present, thank you. Your compassion and commitment have transformed the lives of so many dogs, and we are endlessly grateful for all that you do.
