We are recruiting Trustees!

04/09/2026

🐾 Help Shape the Future of Sighthound Welfare 🐾

Are you passionate about animal welfare and looking for a meaningful way to make a difference?

Forever Hounds Trust is recruiting new Trustees to help guide our charity through an exciting new chapter. For over 30 years we’ve been rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds, lurchers, whippets and other sighthounds, helping more than 10,000 dogs find loving homes. We are now looking for passionate individuals to join our Board and help shape our future.

We’re particularly interested in people with experience in:

✅ Animal and canine welfare
✅ Digital and social media
✅ Human Resources

However, above all, we’re looking for people who share our commitment to improving the lives of sighthounds and who can bring strategic thinking, good judgement and a collaborative approach to governance.

As a Trustee, you’ll help provide strategic direction, oversee performance and sustainability, and act as an ambassador for Forever Hounds Trust. Board meetings are held quarterly, primarily online, with opportunities to contribute through committees and project groups.

📍 Voluntary role (reasonable expenses reimbursed)
📧 Apply with a CV and one-page covering letter to [email protected]
📅 Closing date: 30 September 2026
🔗 Download the Trustee Information Pack below and find out more about joining our Board.

Together, we can create a future where every greyhound, lurcher and sighthound is free from risk or need.
