A couple of our wonderful supporters have once again offered us a week’s holiday in their luxury self-catering holiday cottage in Norfolk to raffle to raise funds for hounds in need! Tickets cost just £5 each.
The Carpenters Shop, Fleggburgh, is a dog-friendly idyllic cottage in a beautiful Norfolk village which sleeps up to 6 people (3 bedrooms downstairs). It has open plan living areas on both floors, and dogs are allowed anywhere in the house, which is fully accessible with a lift to the first floor for humans and/or hounds.
An unlimited number of dogs are welcome, and the property boasts a spacious enclosed garden with patio and BBQ area. There is also an adjacent 2.5 acre fully enclosed exercise paddock for the sole use of guests (with 1.2m wire stock fence all the way round in addition to hedging on 3 sides). There is off road parking at the front of the property for multiple vehicles, as well as free WIFI for guest use.
As if that wasn’t perfect enough, the cottage is just a 15 minute drive to the coast, which has some amazing dog-friendly beaches. There is also an award-winning dog friendly pub/restaurant just a few minutes walk away! What more could you ask for?
Click here for a full description of the property, see some great reviews and check current availability. The winner of the raffle will be able to choose their dates from those available at the time.

We were lucky enough to win the luxury Norfolk holiday in last years raffle…all we can say was…it was FANTASTIC!
The house is spacious, very clean and has all the mod cons that one would wish for. A bonus feature is that it was lovely and cool in the scorching weather that lasted for the entire week of our stay in Norfolk. Our greyhound Enda even quickly got used to being transported from the ground floor to the first floor in the house lift.
Enda absolutely adored the 2.5 acre paddock beside the house, where he could run freely or more usually slowly potter about enjoying the lovely smells in the meadow. It gave us a great lift to see him being able to walk about off his leash in a protected environment, as he rarely gets to go off lead at home except in our back garden.
Both dog and humans returned tired but refreshed from a wonderful week in this beautiful part of the world. We would heartily recommend Carpenter’s Shop as a dog-friendly home-from-home to any supporters of Forever Hounds. We would just like to put on record our grateful thanks to Louise and Fraser for their wonderful generosity for last year’s draw and we hope that the next guests enjoy themselves in their wonderful cottage as much as we did.
Please see a photo of Enda enjoying himself in the shade at Felbrigg House, a National Trust site in north Norfolk which is also dog-friendly.
So, don’t miss out, just like Brian, Sally and Enda, you too could have a wonderful week in this stunning cottage, buy tickets below.
