In our last email newsletter, we celebrated our 30th Anniversary and invited our supporters to share stories of the dogs that they have adopted from us that have made those 30 years so special. We were overwhelmed by the response!
Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be sharing these wonderful stories with you. Some celebrate dogs adopted in our very early days, while others are much more recent. And today, we’re starting with one of the newest – Pippa (formerly Rosie). Her mum sent us the most heart-warming update, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
We adopted Pippa just 2 months ago. She quickly fitted into the pack with our other two dogs and has learned the routines and rules of the house, primary one being – for humans and dogs alike – hugs on demand. Pippa, being the most affectionate of dogs, she takes full advantage!
Considering her poor start in life, Pippa has no hang-ups or emotional baggage. She is friendly, quick to learn, eager to please and full of life. She even has our 12 year old pointer playing again. And when it come to relaxing, she is fully at home.
We can’t imagine life without her.
