A couple of weeks ago Benedict arrived in our care with a broken leg, sustained during a race.
It was the first night of racing following the coronavirus closure and in just the second race of the evening Benedict had an accident that resulted in a bad break to his hock.
He was referred to an othopaedic vet who successfully repaired his fracture and we are very pleased to report that, two weeks post surgery, Benedict is doing well in his foster home.
Once again, this has only been possible thanks to the generous help of our supporters. Thank you to every single person who responded to our appeal. Your donations have helped cover the cost of Benedict’s treatment, changing the world for this precious boy and given him the chance of enjoying his new life on all four legs.
