Two-year-old sweet but shy Saluki lurcher Breeze was found straying and homed, but then returned to the pound before she came into our care. We had the task of finding this lovely girl a really secure and supportive home where she would receive unconditional love.
What better home than one that had previously welcomed one of our Macau hounds into their lives. Monty had sadly just lost his sister Evie to a brain tumour and was feeling sad and lonely, so his family asked us to help find him a friend.
This was a perfect home for insecure Breeze and after a successful meeting where Monty accepted his potential new sister, Breeze went home to live with her new family! She is settling in well, although her new mum says that ‘Whirlwind’ might be a more appropriate name for her!
Little whirlwind Breeze is now home forever, and Monty doesn’t have any time to be sad any more!
