After nearly eight amazing years, greyhound Hugo-The-Boss is officially retiring from his role as Ambassadog for Forever Hounds Trust!
With the loving support of his mum Frankie, Hugo-The-Boss has been a familiar, friendly face at every Dorset walk she organised and represented greyhounds beautifully at Pets Foundation Appeals at Weymouth Pets at Home. Calm, kind, and full of quiet charm, he showed the world exactly why greyhounds make such incredible companions. Here he is pictured with his mum on his very last shift.
An ambassador – or Ambassadog – like Hugo-The-Boss has the most important job of all: letting people experience the true magic of greyhounds in real life. Hugo did it impeccably – raising vital funds, encouraging countless people to adopt, and helping so many hounds find their forever homes along the way.
Now it’s time for a very well-earned retirement. Thank you, Hugo, for everything. You’ll always be the Boss! 🖤🐾
