We are delighted to announce that Finn is home…forever!

You may remember Finn, the star of an appeal last year after he had been found straying and been taken to the dog pound. Sadly the pound was full which meant that if he was not claimed, after a week Finn would be euthanised.
Although he was in the North East of England we knew we needed to help him. As soon as he had completed his time in the pound, we paid for him to be transported to a kennel space in Lincolnshire where he stayed for a week as we had no space in our kennels.
Finn then started his long journey from Lincolnshire to our Centre in Devon. On arrival he was greeted by our kennel team, a comfy bed and a tasty meal, Finn’s new life had begun.

During his assessment it became apparent that due to his previous life experiences he needed a little bit of behaviour work before he would be made available for homing. He responded well, and although his subsequent wait has been quite a long one, it was more than worth it!
Finn has traversed the length of England during his rescue journey as he is home with his lovely new family, including a beautiful lurcher sister, in Cornwall!
We really couldn’t be happier for him and wish them all a very happy future together!
