We love hearing about our adopted hounds, so were delighted to receive these wonderful photos of Billie (was Nessa) loving her new life. Her adopter tells us that she’s amazing and doing so well; she is very clever and even walks to heel off-lead! Billie is truly having a great time living on the edge of Dartmoor!
Billie was one of our home-from-home rehomings, where the dog stays in the comfort of their own home until we can find them a new family. It is less disruptive for the dog in question, and provides reassurance to the original owner that we will find them a suitable new home. We match their dog to a new family….exactly as we would with a dog we have in kennels. It also has the added bonus of freeing up a kennel space for a hound that really needs it.
