George was adopted through our home from home scheme in October 2024, we’ve recently received this wonderful update from his lovely family on how he’s getting on.
People often ask how much exercise a hound needs and the answer really depends. George the 8 year old lurcher likes a couple of meandering walks a day, and a 10 minute run around an off lead park every few days. But on special days, he loves a long walk at a steady pace, and recently walked from Calne to Avebury and back again with his mum. That’s about 18 miles!
We suspect the last picture was taken after that walk…George having a well earned rest.😊
