Handsome black hound Maestro was homed at the end of May, and we were delighted to receive this update from his lovely dad!
Maestro is now called Murdo. He has settled in very well. He is a happy very affectionate dog who loves attention. It took him less than 2 hours to get on the settee. Recently I took him on a National Trust volunteer day, near Clovelly, with about 20 other people. Murdo was very popular and the centre of attention. At the end of September I plan to do short-term fostering. He currently shares the house, sometimes, with my friends greyhound ‘old’ Suzi.
What an amazing update…not only does Murdo have a wonderful new life, he’s got two new best friends – his dad and Suzi! Going forward he might even help other hounds like him into happy homes of their own by teaching them how to adapt to home life!
