Today is International Men’s Day, a day to celebrate the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities.
Therefore, we want to do a big shout-out to the men making a huge difference to the lives of our rescue greyhounds and lurchers; Aiden, Harry and Tom (pictured below), three of our amazing animal care team at our Devon Centre.
We really couldn’t do what we do without them; the care, attention and compassion they show our hounds is second to none. We inevitably take in some some dogs who are scared of men, and these guys gently work with them to help them overcome their fears and get them ready for their new homes.
So, truly a day to celebrate the difference men make to our team, and the lives of sighthounds in need – thanks guys!
