All our sponsor dogs arrive in our care in desperate condition and often live with chronic health needs. Your donations provide ongoing vet treatment, specialist food, and physiotherapy while they enjoy new lives in loving forever homes.
Daphne’s Story
Daphne was injured while racing on an unregulated track. Too injured to continue, she was discarded as an “unwanted expense” by the racing industry. The accident left her with lasting damage, including the amputation of one of her rear toes
Although petite and sometimes mistaken for a whippet, Daphne has a BIG appetite for food and an even bigger enthusiasm for life. Thanks to the generosity of her sponsors, she is now able to live her retirement as every greyhound should – healthy, happy, and loved
