Did you catch Forever Hounds Trust’s rescued greyhounds Sunny and Harrison on West End Woofs last night?
West End Woofs was an online animal adoption event inspired by the successful annual US version, Broadway Barks. Stars of the stage introduced animal rescue organisations and the dogs they had in need of forever homes.
The wonderful Michael Ball introduced Forever Hounds Trust, and then Sunny and Harrison had their moment in the spotlight.
Both Sunny and Harrison have been rescued from the greyhound racing industry. Sunny is a playful boy who loves treats, while Harrison is a quieter, sweet boy who has come to us in a poor condition. Despite being raced up until just a few weeks ago, Harrison has injuries and pain that make it hard from him to walk, and he is also very thin. He’s been seeing a vet to help understand what is causing him his pain and weight loss and how we can manage it, and in the meantime is in need of a foster home where he can recover from his injuries and learn about life as a pet.
