Forever Hounds Trust (FHT) is a greyhound rescue charity in England and Wales independent of the greyhound racing industry. We are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of unwanted, abused or abandoned greyhounds and lurchers.
We are passionate about leading the way in hound welfare and rehoming practice. Our trustees, staff and volunteers are dedicated to giving rescued hounds the best possible future and campaigning for an end to their abuse. We are looking for new trustees to support us in increasing the charity’s impact. You would be able to commit to regular meetings, mostly online, work on projects outside of meetings, and be a great team player, listener and strategic thinker. Areas we are seeking particular skills in include: Finance, HR and people management and welfare, PR/communications, lobbying and advocacy, animal health and welfare, business development, IT and digital development, legal and compliance.
We particularly welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds, and will provide support, mentoring and training to help new trustees in their role.
