We are excited to announce that Forever Hounds Trust has joined forces with PupAid – an organisation raising awareness about the UK’s cruel puppy farming trade – to sell very special Advent Calendars for dogs.
Packed with premium quality biscuits, treats and chews from Barney’s Biscuit Boxes, these are no ordinary Doggie Advent Calendars – and from each one sold, 50p will go to PupAid, and another 50p to a rescue charity. If you would like to support us, you can name Forever Hounds Trust as your chosen rescue charity when you pre-order your advent calendar, which you will need to do within the next few weeks.
Containing treats from the likes of Pooch & Mutt, Hungry Hector, Whimzees and Billy + Margot, care has been taken to make sure all the edible items included are made with human-grade ingredients, and are hand-baked without sugar, salt or preservatives.
When and how to order
You can pre-order advent calendars now and for the next few weeks from www.barneysbiscuitboxes.co.uk (not the Forever Hounds Trust shop).
Each advent calendar costs £13.95 (minimun weight 370g). Orders need to be received soon so that enough advent calendars are created to supply the demand. They will be mailed out in the second and third weeks of November – ensuring that the products are received in good time for advent, but also that the treats are as fresh as possible (although they do have a six-month shelf life).
What is PupAid?
The initiative also aims to raise awareness amongst the general public of PupAid’s key message: that there are many pitfalls in buying puppies and kittens without their mother present.
